Justin Bieber baby claim: Mariah Yeater wants 'modest' financial support

Mariah Yeater, 20, says she only wants a “modest” amount of cash from Canadian Bieber, who is battling to save his clean-cut image amid a growing scandal.

Lawyers representing Mariah say they have “credible evidence” that the 17-year-old singer fathered the baby boy.

They add that if the teen sensation refuses to co-operate he may be ordered by a judge to take a paternity test.

Bieber has shrugged off the baby claims but has not denied he had unprotected sex with Mariah after a concert last year.

Last night one of Mariah’s friends told the Mirror: “All she wants is for Justin Bieber to admit he’s the father of her baby.

“She told me she wants her baby to know who his daddy is. She isn’t after millions – she just wants her son to get the support he deserves. That’s not a lot to ask.”

Lawyers for Mariah, who is an office clerk from San Diego in California, filed a legal claim this week in which she said Bieber’s bodyguards invited her backstage after his gig at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last October.

She alleges that Bieber told her he was a virgin – before hastily removing her clothes in a bathroom.

Her lawyers, Lance Rogers and Matthew Pare, say their client is not seeking a large amount of money but she is after fair support for newborn son Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater.
